Sterling turned 8 on Aug. 31
He wanted a shark cake. All I could do is make a beach with sharks swimming around. I'm not a cake pro.
Sterling's presents:
Scriptures! And a case. His scriptures had his name spelled wrong so we had to send them back and get them redone.

On September 26th, Sterling got baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Denver baptized him. The stake was in charge and it was sooo nice. I didn't have to plan anything, prayers, songs, speakers... Only one other child from the stake was baptized that day so it still felt special to Sterling.
After the baptism, we had lunch at the church. Taco Salad and/or nachos.
Thanks to Grandma Palmer, we got some great pictures:
Here are all the Priesthood members who stood in the circle when Sterling received the gift of the Holy Ghost.

It was a good day. After the baptism, Becky and Glen and Derek and Kristen and Gary and us went to dinner at a restaurant while Maelie, Emily, and Shelby babysat. :)
