Girls Camp

I went to Girls Camp from the 7th to 11th. Despite the hot, humid weather, big bugs, and lack of sleep, I had a great time! One highlight from camp was the game night with our Bishops and then testimony meeting with our Bishops. Here is a picture of one of the games played with our Bishop. Another game played with our Bishop. It taught us how to work together.

Another game played with our Bishop

Here is a picture of my home for the 5 days I spent at camp. It held up strong through some massive thunderstorms!

This is the level group I stayed with. Here we are tasting MRE (meals ready to eat) which are pretty good. (At least the beef enchiladas were). We also had corn on the cob cooked in the fire (delicious) and banana boats (a tradition I am going to start every time my family goes camping. It was a very good meal.

One of the nicer bugs at camp. There were so many gigantic daddy long legs everywhere. I've never seen daddy long legs that big.

It was a great experience for all that went. It's hard to be away from the comforts of home for that length of time, but it's great to be outdoors, in the world God created for us.

Summer Vacation

We had a long, relaxing summer vacation. One of the many things we did was go to AZ.
We had fun at Grandparents' houses.
A big smile from the kids on one of the many walks we went on in Payson
At the Bass Pro Shop.

We had a good time fishing and the kids even caught some fish (with help:) )

Dirty faces mean somebody was having a great time!
Visiting Heber was relaxing and fun.

Thanks to everyone who took time out of their schedules to play with us. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Sesame Place

What fun we had at Sesame Place! A few weeks ago we went to Sesame Place (about a 40 min. drive from our home) and had a ball! We all got to see our favorite Sesame Street characters. Visiting with Ernie. Maelie wouldn't go near him and Garrett was a little leary of him. A big smiling Ernie that doesn't talk!!!!
Posing in the fire truck on Sesame Street.

Sitting on the steps at Sesame Street.

Mail for Big Bird!!!

We enjoyed watching the shows throughout the day. Big Bird and his friends are at the Beach in this show. They sang songs and danced and got the audience involved. The shows were the kids favorites!

Can't forget about the parade. All the sesame street characters walked down the street in the parade waving and shaking hands. The kids were, once again, a little freaked out by these big sesame street characters. Especially when they got really close.

The rapping Bert

One of my personal favorites, Grover!!!!

There was a lot to do at Sesame Place. One of those things was rides. I couldn't ride a single one because I am pregnant, but the kids and dad loved them.

more fun on rides

Playing on a big yellow floaty.

Another show we went to was Elmo's world. Maelie loved this one especially!

Checking out the Elmo's World room.

THis massive net was very hard to climb up. There were about 8 of these all at different levels. I went about 4 steps on it and was out of breath. Dad took the kids up and down.

Standing with Big Birds footprints.

We spent all day there and still didn't see or do everything. It was a very fun, but tiring day!
