Maelie's baptism

Maelie's baptism: Maelie was baptized on her birthday June 4th at 10am.

Maelie and her dad. (his choice in white clothes were sizes 4x or small. He opted for loose over tight. :)

I was really touched by how many people came to her baptism. Below are pictures of most of them.

Rachel (her husband and son came too)

The Ayers (a wonderful family that live in our neighborhood that we go visit often).

Shauna and Logan Miller (we serve in nursery together)

The Shumways (a resident that works with Denver and his family)

The Durlands (friends from the ward)

Sister Shepherd, the Ringo girls, Shalon and Ben Gardner, Dale Helfer, two of the Wrights, the Gibsons, and the Jorgensens.

The Jones' (another resident that works with Denver and his family)

Deor (her husband is in the bishopric and gave closing comments. He has the same birthday as Maelie.

Grandpa and Grandma Palmer gave good talks on Baptism and the Holy Ghost.

We had cookies and milk after. Mmmmm

It was a good day for Maelie and the family! We are so proud of Maelie and the life she lives and the decisions she makes.

Maelie's birthday party

On the kid's 8th birthday, they get to have a party with friends. Maelie invited 6 friends (Tia, Brooklyn, Gabby, Katie, Carlie and Sophia). We started by decorating our own pizzas. While they cooked we watched "Gnomeo and Juliet". Then we ate pizza.

Maelie's theme was butterflies so she had a 'butterfly' cake. We ate cake and ice cream.

After cake and ice cream we had a game of Twister. It was funny to watch the girls. They did really good!

After the game of Twister we went outside to play 'statues'. We played outside for a long time. The girls loved playing the game and would've kept going, but time was running out so we headed inside to open presents. Maelie got a lot of great things from the girls.

Garrett and Sterling gave Maelie Disney piano books. Colson gave her gum.

Mom and Dad gave her her own set of scriptures. A mini quad. She was so excited to get them.

While the girls were waiting for their parents to pick them up they finished "Gnomeo and Juliet".

It was a fun party!
