First day of school! Summer's end and mountains.

A couple days ago we had our palm tree removed because the roots were lifting the pool deck.  They came early-6am with a crane to lift the sucker up.   They didn't want it to fall in the pool or on the pool fence.  So, the worker hooked it on the crane wires, cut the top and they took it away.

Look closely and you'll see the man hanging on the stump of the tree as the crane carried the rest of it to the truck.

They cut it down to this level.  Our plane is to clean it and then make it into a table for drinks while the kids swim.

Picture day for Denver.  The whole group was going to get a picture for the website.  Slowly, but surely, he is finding his place there.

First day of school!  They were so excited and so ready!  I will miss them.
