These first pictures show how hungry he is and he doesn't get happier until he gets food! We gave him Mac'n'cheese for his birthday dinner and a turtle for his birthday cake.
We blended up his mac'n'cheese (bleh) and he loved it! Added milk too because it was really thick.
He really didn't want to wait any longer. He was probably thinking "Dad, why are you taking pictures of me instead of giving me my food! It's sitting right there"
That's better.
Breaking news (sorry to interupt the dinner pictures): Colson majorly stubbed his toe. OUCH!
Now for cake and ice cream...
Hmm...he didn't really want to touch it.
So we had to help him eat it.
The ice cream was cold. Deacon wasn't too sure about that.
He was done. Didn't care too much for dessert or maybe it was just the ice cream. Too cold.
Cheese smile
We just wrapped toys we already had that he liked to play with. Like he's going to remember :).
Later that month we walked to the lighthouse.
At the lighthouse we ate oranges.
One of the other Dentist's on base had a son a couple weeks younger or older (I don't remember) than Deacon. Here the 2 boys are together with Garrett and Morgan (their daughter)
On the hunt for more spirit houses. This one was not quite as nice as some of the others.
Walking along the Praia boardwalk. There are those fun exercise equipment pieces again.
In June we worked on selling our car. We were sad to see it go, but couldn't take it with us when we moved. It was a fun car to drive. Our branch president told us about a month after we moved that our little white car we sold was at Joes (the mechanic) and looked like it had gotten in an accident. It may never run again :(. Fun car.
