A week before Christmas

In Primary the kids drew a picture of what they would give the Savior on his birthday. Maelie wrote she wanted to give the Savior her testimony. I thought that was cute. Let the baking begin. We spent a Saturday baking goodies to give away. We made hershey kiss cookies, m&m cookies, reindeer treats, sugar cookies, and pumpkin bread. Mmmm, it was delicious.

We also decorated gingerbread houses. This is one of our favorite traditions.

And we went to visit Santa's Cottage and get pictures taken with him. This was my favorite Santa. He was so jolly and good with the kids. And it was free to get a picture with him!

Colson wasn't so sure of him.

Sterling just wanted a candy cane from Santa. That was the first thing he said to santa.

Unfortunately, Garrett had an accident before we got to the cottage so we didn't allow him to sit on Santa's lap, but he still got to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas.
