Garden of the Gods, Colson's birthday and Garden of the Gods again

When Erin came to visit me, I took her to Garden of the Gods

All the kids ready to go. My 2 oldest were still in school.

We saw an Indian dance with music.

All of the rock structures have names, but I don't know them all.  This might be the 3 brothers or 3 priests or something like that.

We met this little guy slithering across the path. There are signs all around that warn to watch out for rattlesnakes.  Luckily, he wasn't one.

Our home:

Delicious, easy, no ice cream maker required home made ice cream.
First:  Cherry vanilla

2nd: mint chocolate chip

3rd:  Peanut m&m ice cream with blue food coloring

4th;  Rocky road

Homemade oreos.

We made these chips and salsa things with a little thing on it to introduce ourselves to some neighbors.  We made 5.  It was our attempt at being friends to our neighbors.
