Colson=always smiling
For FHE in November we made our Thanksgiving tree.
Busy at work.
The Palmer's thanksgiving tree is sad because it has no leaves so the Palmer family is sad too.
Some things Maelie was thankful for: colors, candy, her needs, toys, friends, sun and seasons, mom and dad, and Thanksgiving
Some things Colson was thankful for: underwear, leaves, food, family, bees, and Jesus
Some things Sterling was thankful for: roly poly bugs, my home, butterflies, sweet food, angry bird underwear and missionaires
Some things Garrett was thankful for: my bike, freedom, eggs, by body, food, my family, people, everything, Jesus and Heavenly Father
Mom and Dad were thankful for: each other, Love, family, our home, testimony, Priesthood blessings, Scriptures, repentance and forgiveness, Sunny days and rainbows, good health, Holy Ghost, truth and scriptures.
Now the Thanksgiving tree is happy and so is the Palmer family.
My puzzles extravaganza before Christmas. Doing puzzles always gets me in the Holiday Spirit. This was a new one that I did with Denver. It's a bunch of different candy wrappers, very fun.
At preschool Sterling made this Pilgrim hat. some American parents came in and taught the portuguese preschool about Thanksgiving. Sterling called himself the 'Thanksgiving Man'.
We had a couple of weeks of really great weather. The same couple weeks I started potty training Colson. It was very hard to get him to come inside to go potty every hour. Now the weather is windy and rainy and he is fully trained. I would say I should've waited, but I won't because I'm glad it's over! I do not like potty training.
Garrett's class had a Thanksgiving Feast on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Colson, Deacon and I went and enjoyed it with him.
Garrett is a good brother.
Mmmm, look at all that food. Lumpias!!!!
One of the kids, Garrett or Sterling saw this and said, 'that's the smallest playground I've ever seen.' Funny.
Taking a few pictures on base.
The Dental Clinic had a Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday after Garrett's feast. There is always way too much planned for the Holidays. It can get overwhelming and exhausting. We didn't even do half of the things offered. Here are some of the staff.
Deacon and another dentist's baby, Eason. Deacon is older by one month.
Denver's assistant was getting ready to PCS (move) and had a ceremony of some sorts. He was our FAVORITE!!! The same one we invited to our Christmas Eve stuff last year and to Thanksgiving this year. We'll keep in touch with him. He's a great kid.
That same day after school, Garrett fell and chipped his permanent tooth. :( Denver went in and fixed it.
It got pushed up so it will be the same length eventually. It takes time to come back down.
For Thanksgiving dinner we went to the Ramey's to celebrate. We had 6 missionaries, the Rameys, the Stroms, the Browns, and the Dental assistant friend (Matt) altogether for Thanksgiving. We ate and played games. It was a good time.
The day after Thanksgiving we decorated for Christmas!
The ocean this evening looked like glass! It was beautiful.
