Boys, boys and more boys

Boa Noite (good evening)
Friday we went to my ultrasound to check the health of the baby. Let me tell you, he wasn't shy. Even if we didn't want to know the gender we would've known. The tech wasn't going to check for the gender until the very end after she checked all the measurements, etc., but that wasn't what he had in mind (: We are very excited for another boy-one more Priesthood holder-one more missionary-one more team member for a basketball game-one more pair of hands to mow the lawn and take out the trash-one more boy for Denver to take on father and sons campouts. During the ultrasound we were able to see the baby open and close his mouth and open and close his hand as if waving. It was fun to see. He was very active during the ultrasound.

The very obvious shot:

A look at the baby:
Saturday was a 'Mommy and Sons' dinner and dance on base. I only took 2 of the boys because I wasn't sure how Cole would handle the late(r) night. Pictures before:
Even though he didn't go, he wanted a turn for a picture.

I had such a good time with them at the dance. Here are some highlights/memories of the night:
-Sterling didn't want to go because he didn't want to dance and then he danced the night away and amazed me with his moves. He did the robot and some other really funny moves that I didn't know he had in him.
-Garrett pulling my chair out for me each time I left the table and came back. At first I didn't know what he was doing and then I realized what a gentleman he was being! I think his dad gave him a lesson on how to treat a date before we left.
-Garrett dancing a guitar solo and being recorded by the AFN(Air Force News) TV man. Can't wait to watch him on the CAC channel!
-Sterling went missing (many times), but this time I found him at the punch bowl drinking from the big punch spoon! Oh my!

All in all, it was a great event and the boys and myself had loads of fun while Denver, Maelie, and Cole had some fun of their own making cookies and watching "High School Musical".

My little, little garden. What used to be in this spot was 5 Aloe Vera plants we took out and planted these. The dead ones are the summer plants and the thriving ones are the winter plants. We never have to water them.
I love the pink flowers in this picture. Surrounding the garden is volcanic rock that you can find all over the island.

We are still waiting for our brake pads to arrive (hopefully tomorrow) so we haven't gone many places this week that we can't walk to. We only drive the van to and from church. We walk everywhere! The weather has been magnificent though!
I LOVE my Portuguese class. I'm learning so much, but I need to practice. That's all for now. Ate logo (see you later).
