I have to say that I tried and I jumped in without getting hit by the rope, but that's about all I could do. It was hard! Someday, though, I am going to defeat it!
Now for Punchinella in the Shoe. Maelie loved it!
The words to the whole song go like this:
"Look who's here, Punchinella, punchinella, Look who's here, Punchinella in the shoe" (holding hands and walking in a circle around the person in the middle)
"What can you do Punchinella, punchinella, what can you do, Punchinella in the shoe" (the person in the middle does some kind of action while everyone around that person, claps their hands)
"We can do it to Punchinella, punchinella, we can do it to Punchinella in the shoe" (everyone repeats the action the person did previously)
"who do you choose punchinella, punchinella, who do you choose punchinella in the shoe" (the person(punchinella) in the middle(shoe) closes her eyes and turns with her finger pointing out and by the end of the verse, whoever she is pointing to is the new 'punchinella in the shoe' and the songs starts all over again).

Oh my! I don't think I could even get in without getting hit. Wow those girls coordinated and in super shape to do that! You're doing such a fabulous job in your calling - you're such a great example to me. I love your YW blog - did you set that up too? What a great thing so that all of the girls can show their friends what fun things you're doing - AWESOME!
That's such a fun folk song. I learned to teach it to kids in elementary school--I studied elementary music ed. What a blast.
